Bobcat Utility VehicleBUILT TOUGH

Latest Bobcat utility vehicles take on tougher ground.

Bobcat® utility vehicles are the perfect solution for those who need a durable 4x4 machine to power through landscaping jobs and outdoor maintenance. Designed in the company's state-of-the-art Acceleration Centre located in Bismarck, North Dakota, Bobcat Company has released the Bobcat® 3400 and 3600 UTV models into the Australian market.

The new four-wheel drive Bobcat® 3400 in gas or diesel comes with an improved suspension system and industry leading features, matched with faster travel speeds and more integrated accessories. With a continuously variable transmission for quick acceleration, the 3400 model offers machine protection with a full skid plate, contact velocity shield and an optional brush guard to protect the undercarriage, engine, transmission and radiator when travelling over rough terrain, logs, rocks and other debris.

The diesel Bobcat® 3600 UTV features a hydrostatic transmission for steady torque and better pulling power under high load applications, particularly when using attachments. The machine's modular cab system enables full customization to suit the operator's preference, the work environment and season, further enhanced with heat and air conditioning for all weather comfort.

USER-FRIENDLY

A big part of utility vehicles' appeal is that they're user-friendly. Automotive-like features of a steering wheel, foot accelerator and foot brake make it an easy transition for just about anyone to operate. Plus, it can hold nearly as many people as a car. Utility vehicles provide options from two-passenger to six-passenger models.

They're not as fast as a car but the average two-passenger utility vehicle can travel up to 64km/h while carrying a full load. Choose from different drive modes to adapt to the jobsite conditions. Turf mode is ideal for creating minimal ground disturbance on established lawns and other sensitive surfaces, or on hard surfaces where tyre marks are not wanted.

VERSATILE ATTACHMENTS

With many Bobcat® attachments available, it's easy to turn a utility vehicle into a workhorse. The variety of attachments allows you to easily complete different tasks without having to purchase and maintain several pieces of equipment. Popular attachments include the mower, the sprayer for fertilizing and weed control on lawns, golf courses and other landscaped areas, and multi-purpose attachments, like the bucket, grapple and pallet fork to handle a variety of jobs.

LIGHT-DUTY TASKS

When it comes to push-, pull- and lift-type attachments, utility vehicle strength is restricted. Don't expect to lift heavy loads of dirt, rocks or other material with a winch-mounted bucket attachment. Instead, utility vehicle attachments should be used to perform light-duty tasks. However, the Bobcat® 3400 and 3600 utility vehicles can easily haul a trailer of firewood, grass clippings or leaves, landscaping materials and more up to a weight of 567kg and lift up to 226kg.
