The opportunity:
Clark Equipment’s growing forklift division are seeking an energetic and driven sales professional to be based out of our Heatherbrae Branch. This role gives you the opportunity to learn the Clark Forklift range, and the customers we support, whilst providing you with the skills to succeed within the business and opportunities to advance within sales departments and beyond.
As a relatively small national sales team you have a chance to make a big splash and propel your sales to the next level! Plus, great promotion opportunity into our Australian made Omega heavy forklift sales team.
What we are looking for:
A can-do attitude and a passion to succeed are the core attributes that are necessary for this role. We are looking for an individual who is a committed self-starter with a drive to succeed & the ability to follow company principles.
The position is ideally suited to (but not limited to) applicants with proven successful sales experience and techniques in similar roles. A strong understanding and focus on electric equipment is strongly advantageous.
Responsibilities will include:
The key responsibility of the successful candidate is sales growth of the Clark forklift range within the specific territory area of Newcastle, Hunter Valley and the Central Coast region. This includes:
- Develop and convert new, rental and used equipment sales opportunities.
- Identify & develop new prospects, customers, and key accounts.
- Facilitate key national accounts to drive repeat business working as part of the greater team
- Work within company systems and processes including Salesforce CRM
