Clark Equipment are National distributors of the Bobcat, Doosan, McCormick & Omega range of machinery. A position exists at our Heatherbrae branch for a suitably qualified and experienced Plant Mechanic to fill the role of workshop foreman reporting to a Workshop Manager.

The position is workshop-based work on a range of new and used equipment. The successful applicant will be trade qualified and will preferably have post-trade experience in the sector with a strong understanding of Skid steer and Excavator construction machinery and with the ability to amicably communicate with machine owners and customers.

The position calls for:

- Efficient management of the workshop procedures and work flow
- Appropriate communication with staff, customers and operators
- Efficient diagnostic and repair procedures to be executed in a timely and professional manner
- Appropriate paperwork and records to be recorded and kept
- Travel to on site jobs, this may include overnight trips
- Repairs and service to; construction and allied equipment
- Team work and flexibility with a commitment to deliver a very high level of customer satisfaction
- Trade qualifications and experience, drivers licence, appropriate workplace qualifications to work on site
- A willingness to participate in product and company training as it is available
- A professional and tidy approach to task, communication and company facilities
